Dumfries 2

Another collection of my Dumfries photos (from October 2008), this time to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns (on the 25th January), who lived here at the end of his life and was buried at St Michael's Church. I would love to be in the town tomorrow night for the four lantern processions! I just hope that, with all the recent flooding in the town, the festivities will be able to go ahead as planned. Great pictures! Great Blog!!

I always wanted to visit Scotland but never had enough time during my busy visits to UK.

Had been to Wales and Cornwall recently and after looking at your blog I will make it a point to visit Scotland somehow or the other :)
