A postcard I bought of Princes Street in 1996Below, photos I took from the top of the Scott Monument the same year; built in honour of Sir Walter Scott, it's well worth climbing the 287 steps to see the marvellous views!
I've scarcely scratched the surface of this wonderful city with these few snaps but I can recommend the Undiscovered Scotland Edinburgh page for lots of photos and information!

Great photos and postcards! The streets look quite a bit quieter. I've been training for the Scott Monument climb, so far I've made up to the (directly opposite) Ramada hotel 1.st floor cafe (or bar depending on time of day)... ;)
